The Real Person Behind This Brand

Hi, I'm Misty — born in Jacksonville, Florida, raised in Callahan, and the proud momma of two amazing young adults: which are a 22-year-old daughter, and a 19-year-old son, whom I couldn’t be any more proud of for the amazing young adults they have become. And they are my whole world, my reason.

I'm not going to sugarcoat my story, because that's not what this brand is about.

I've been through hell and back. Suffered abuse, A narcissistic long marriage. Then one bad relationship after another. Mental health battles, like I was on a constant roller coaster. A chapter of my life lost to drug addiction. I've hit rock bottom a time or two and lost everything I’ve ever worked for, due to no one’s fault but my own, even though I wasn’t by myself in it all. And I’ve stared up at it, truly believing at that time that my life was over, wondering how I'd ever climb out.

But I did. With God’s grace, And all the help of my incredible momma and one hell of a support system, I picked myself back up — piece by piece, day by day. And I'm still doing it. Every single day.

I strongly believe in speaking openly about mental health, abuse, and addiction. If you're struggling, you are not alone. Real healing is possible, and there is no shame in your story. We are all made with meaning.

Why "Real" Matters So Much to Me

Here's the thing — I've watched people lie, cheat, ghost, and perform their way through life. I've been on the receiving end of it more times than I can count. And while in active drug use the giving end as well, I’m ashamed to say. There’s those men who tell you what you want to hear and disappear. People who say "I love you" while looking you dead in the eye and lying. A world so obsessed with appearances that authenticity has become rare.

And I got sick of it.

Real is rare. But real is the only thing worth being. I'd rather have my feelings hurt by the truth than be destroyed slowly by a lie. What's so hard about just being who you actually are? Who cares who doesn't like it?

That frustration — that fire — is what Made With Meaning is built on.

This Brand Is My Rebuild.

I've poured myself into this. Every design, every product, every word — it's me, rebuilding my little life back, making a mends in a way, one meaningful piece at a time. I strive to be better every day. I do a lot of self-reflection, I try to learn something new daily, own my mistakes, and take it one day at a time. I’m certainly no saint, I’m a work in progress I like to say, I take life slowly cause I have to, and truly think about my decisions nowadays.

I've learned to enjoy the little things. And I've learned that originality — true, unfiltered, unapologetic originality — is the only thing that never goes out of style.
